Strong majority against seasonal ban on fireworks - 227 participants, 504 responses

Dec 04, 2016

Officials in Rochester are considering a proposal that would ban the use of fireworks except for select holidays and during the months of June, July and August. Currently, fireworks are legal to use in Rochester year-round. On December 4, Citizens Count, NH’s Live Free or Die Alliance decided to put the issue to its Facebook members, posting the question, “Would you support a seasonal ban on fireworks use in your town?”

“Would you support a seasonal ban on fireworks use in your town?”

Participation:

A total of 97% of those participating gave a 'yes or no' response to the question. The remaining 3% of participants engaged in the discussion but did not give a yes or no response. In total, this question received 504 responses from 227 individuals. (Click here for details on our methodology.)
