Would you support the sales of 'smart guns' in New Hampshire?

May 28, 2014

While there may never be a consensus as to what constitutes a ‘smart’ decision regarding how and when a firearm should be utilized, recent developments in computer technology could render such debates academic. Referred to as ‘smart guns,’ these devices can only be fired by their owner, which supporters claim would reduce gun violence, suicides and accidental shootings. On May 28, Citizens Count, NH’s Live Free or Die Alliance decided to put the issue to its Facebook members, posting the question, “Would you support the sales of 'smart guns' in New Hampshire?”
