Donald Trump claims voter fraud in New Hampshire

Nov 28, 2016

BY: CCNH-LFDA Highlights

On November 27 president-elect Donald Trump tweeted, "Serious voter fraud in Virginia, New Hampshire and California - so why isn't the media reporting on this? Serious bias - big problem!"

As of Monday morning, Trump's team had not responded to media requests for proof of this claim.

Trump has insisted on widespread voter fraud and a "rigged system" throughout this election season.  While his win in the electoral college would seem to discount his argument of a rigged system, he lost the national popular vote by roughly 2 million.

The New Hampshire Attorney General has aggressively prosecuted some voter fraud cases in recent years, but those cases are few and far between.  Generally speaking, New Hampshire's paper ballot system and voter ID law make it difficult to perpetrate voter fraud in the Granite State.
