Should NH pass a right-to-work law?

Under right-to-work laws, collective bargaining agreements cannot require employees to join a union. Unions in turn are not required to represent employees that are not union members.

SB 11, a bill co-sponsored by almost all of the Republican members of the New Hampshire Senate, along with several representatives, would implement a ‘Right to Work Act’ in New Hampshire.

Supporters of right-to-work legislation claim it promotes businesses to hire employees and eliminates union intimidation, giving workers greater freedom of choice.

Opponents believe such laws lead to lower wages and fewer benefits, arguing that right-to-work laws are really designed to undermine the bargaining power of unions. They also note that New Hampshire's unemployment rate is below that of states that have already passed right-to-work laws.

No it should not pass Right to Work. It will lead to increase in Welfare recipients. Great part of New Hampshire is the will to recall all you lawmakers who vote for this bad bill.
